Blue Screen of Death Errors

========================================================
Blue Screen of Death Fix™, arggggh....
========================================================

Now I'm not a techy and the only reason you could be reading this is that you're not a techy also but you have a "Blue Screen Error" crash that happens whenever you do the following:

1) Loading Microsoft Windows

2) Loading Microsoft Excel

3) Loading Norton Anti-Virus (or any anti-virus software for that matter)

4) You moved your mouse

Its also know as the Blue Screen of Death, where the entire computer screen turns blue, and asks if you have installed any new hardware or software in the past. Here are a few things you can do to help you fix the problem.

1) Use a Registry Cleaner software: I will install a registry cleaner to check if there are errors in the registry. If there are, fix it! Naturally, registry cleaners will first do a scan and only if you feel that you want to fix the errors should you buy it.

2) A Ram Issue: If the registry cleaner doesn't work, then I need to get into the hardware. If you're using Dell, you can call them to help trouble shoot your RAM problems. They will diagnose for you on the spot and you simply need to run a few tests to see if the RAM is working. Getting into Hardware can be a little inconvenient. That's why I'd rather run a software 1st and try to fix the issue before tinkering around with the RAM.

If neither the ram nor registry is the problem, then in very rare cases, it could lie with the "Power Casing".

If that's the case, then you'll need to backup your excel, word data into a thumb drive and send your PC for repair. The Blue Screen error never will go away on its own and it will come back to bite when you did not save that Word File you had spent 2 hrs on.

PPS: If your computer is slow, aging, and has the blue screen error, it could be more worthwhile, instead of repairing it, to just switch to a DELL. This is the DELL model I'm using now (VostroTM 200 Slim Tower) and i'm quite happy with it. Its compact, fast, and quite affordable.

Hope this post helps you!
